That's Right Folks, It's Time for October's CFRB Tour!!!!
This Month its, (drum roll please) Mags Storey's novel, If Only You Knew
Jo's summer vacation is off to a good start when she meets Kevin, an amazingly attractive guy, and Sam, her soon-to-be best friend, on the same day. Now she only needs a job, future plans, and a few goals for her life. No big deal, right?
As if that's not enough, Jo would also like to know why no one talks about the horrible accident she witnessed last summer. Bust as much as she wants to know the truth, someone else wants to keep it a secret. Can she handle creepy stalkers, death threats, and her crazy love life without losing control?
For Jo, unraveling the mystery and piecing her life together will mean discovering if God really listens-and if he cares enough to answer.
A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS?
A GREAT STORY!!! I loved it, I wasn't so sure, when I requested to review it, but then I started reading! and boy did I get sucked in! I ended up reading it in 2 days...(had to take breaks...I had to clean my room :)
Mags did a great job with Jo's mystery...she get's you wondering who are these people that are stalking her, who and why are they threatening to kill her? The only thing is, that Mags did such a good job writing this book, that it's hard to say what I really thought of the story, without giving it away!
Mags opens the book with Jo walking on the beach until she comes to a couple fighting in the middle of her path...making it impossible for Jo to get around them until the fight broke up! So she sitts down in the back of a truck, and watches the fight...and I tell you, What a Fight!!! The girl was acting like a 2 year old that was just told no!
She was so ingrossed in watching the fight, that she didn't even realize that the owner of the truck, had gotten in and started the truck. But once she heard the engine, she jumped off the truck...but instead of landing on her feet, she landed on her behind...and the driver didn't realize that she was back there...
Sam's one of those friends, that you can just call for anything, and Jo does! When she feels like she's in danger she calls Sam... They end up hanging out ALL the time....until things with Kevin start getting serious! More serious than I think Jo or Kevin would like them to be.
